Animals in Need of Foster

Honey Bee
This sweet 2-year-old Sharpei mix loves going for walks and is eager to learn leash-walking manners. She's a strong puller, so she needs someone patient to help her with that. Daily walks, occasional hikes, mental stimulation, and training exercises would make her so happy! She's all ears and ready to learn. However, it's important to note that she has a high prey drive and would do best in a home without cats or other small animals.
Caspian
Meet Caspian, the gentle giant! He's a little shy at the shelter and would do best in a calm, quiet home. With some extra love and training in a foster home, he'll be ready for his forever home in no time. He loves naps and walks and hanging out with people he trusts. He's already a certified good boy!
Robin
Meet Robin! This sweet cat is feeling a bit overwhelmed in the shelter. She's hoping to find a foster who understands cat behavior and body language. The shelter environment is stressing her out, but we're confident that with the right foster care, she'll blossom into the perfect candidate for adoption!
Bear
Bear, a British Shorthair, is in need of a foster hero. He was relinquished by his previous family due to litterbox issues, which were exacerbated by a stressful home environment that included a boisterous dog and a scarcity of litterboxes for the multiple cats in the household. Bear is a shy but sweet-natured cat, and we are seeking a patient foster home that can help him overcome his shyness and monitor his litterbox habits. Our ultimate goal is to find Bear his forever family from a foster home, as he is currently experiencing significant stress in the shelter environment.
Herbie
Herbie has been at the shelter for a long time. We're hoping to find a foster home for him where he can feel comfortable and at ease after so much time at the shelter. Herbie would thrive in a home with adults and older kids. It would be great if his new foster has experience with dogs and can provide an active and engaging environment for him. Herbie is a smart pup and would love to continue his training. He already knows how to "Sit," "Down," "Shake," and can even stand on his hind legs. He's a treat-motivated learner and really enjoys picking up new tricks!
Snoopy
Snoop Doggy Dog has been showing lots of energy at the shelter, including lots of jumping, mouthing, and hyper movements. We would love a foster that can teach him some basic manners to make his path to a forever home much smoother! Don’t let our description of him scare you off - he’s one of our volunteer’s favorite doggos here. Per our volunteer: “The first time I met Snoop, he was so anxious to go for a walk, he almost pulled my arm out of its socket. After nearly 3 months of patience and training, he’s a pleasure to be around. He rarely tugs when on his leash. Suppose he forgets that tugging is not acceptable. In that case, a quick reminder along with a dog treat gets him back on track. He’s very affectionate, loves to play and run, knows how to sit, and he’ll lets you brush him for however long you’re willing to do so.”
